As others have said, I’m sad to say that once they’ve ‘got’ you, the company doesn’t particularly care about customer service.
Every time I *pay* for a blood test, I have to wait over a week for results. Not only that, but I have to chase them to even receive these results.
I’m seriously considering leaving, as there are countless other providers.
I’ve been with Optimale for about two years now. The service was good at the start and they were supportive and professional. Over the last few months this has changed! They are the complete opposite now. I placed an order for a repeat prescription on the 26th of last month. It’s now the 10th and I’ve been left with no medication. The service is far below what it should be and I recommend looking else where.
Very poor service. Ages to respond to mail and don’t even try phone them. Wish I had gone elsewhere. Will cancel post first three months. A pity the Dr was good but being let down by support services.
I really REALLY wish I had read the reviews before paying them money, total waste of time, pretty much had exactly the same experience as most of the bad reviews written on here, long story short after paying £140 for a blood test less advanced than the one I already had done from NHS and having a consultation for my low t results, they have turned me down unless I can get a letter from a doctor no longer in my support team to basically take in his shoulders the responsibility for me being on testosterone, they keep saying it’s because they are virtual, well maybe you shouldn’t be virtual if it means you can’t tell the wellness of your patients?
Basically if you have low T, you’re going to have health problems, and if you didn’t; you wouldn’t need TRT in the first place. they don’t want you to have problems, just the low T which doesn’t happen, so means they’re either just giving it to people that don’t need it, or giving it to people that lie to them and say they feel great…very unprofessional either way
Meanwhile us real low T folk won’t get given the chance and getting charged for the pleasure of being turned away for no good reason
The most ironic thing, I actually even heard a complaint about this company the day of my consultation from a client that walked into my business pretty much saying exactly the same as I am now saying. I was hoping his experience was bad luck but now I see it’s just their general method of operating.
Furthermore, don’t be fooled by the rapid response rate when you send your first enquiry, as soon as they have your money, can be days until you next hear from them, they’ll make promises they can’t keep such as you will hear something on Thursday and then finally hear something Monday and string you along, my experience with them has been around 3 weeks of constant hurdle jumping and sitting and waiting to be rejected
And in response to your generic boiler plate review about safety, your company know that NHS is dealing with me, so this isn’t about safety at all, you knew that the only safety issue in my reports is my low T..so if my safety had been of any concern you’d actually have put me on TRT, not rejected me after knowing that the NHS will but I didn’t want to wait…people pay for private care to get faster and extra care, you have provided neither which is actually a risk to my health and also now my bank account
Kudos on getting a response here within minutes though, when I’ve been waiting days for a reply as a paying customer. I should have just messaged you here for a response
Poor customer service
Slow customer service
phone lines just randomly not answered during office hours
Same company as Manual now so cannot see them being any better. quick to take your money but slow to make an appointment
3 weeks into.process and still no doctors consultation or treatment. Beginning to look as though NHS may be quicker than private which is a big statement.
